The Silver City Rotary Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people in Grant County, New Mexico, and in other parts of the world by raising funds to support
- charitable projects that improve community life and the health, welfare and education of people in Grant County, NM;
- international charitable projects that improve the health and welfare of people in other countries;
- post-secondary education scholarship grants to deserving students from Grant County.
The Foundation is supported by the Rotary Club of Silver City and supports the Club’s charitable projects. It also supports the work of The Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of Rotary International.
The Foundation was established in 2015 and is incorporated as a charitable organization under the laws of New Mexico. It has been designated a 501(c)(3) Public Charity by the IRS. Thus, donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
